C-11 Soldiers and Sailors Monument
I think this block turned out really well. The fabric, which was from my cousin's stash, adds a lot of movement to the block. Hopefully the yellow chalk lines will come out with the wash! The block was hand appliqued and then machine pieced.

I do like the title of this block, especially because Jane Stickle made this quilt during the Civil War. It's always important to remember the people who gave their lives for their beliefs.

Wow, now that I started sewing I can totally appreciate how much work this must be ;) Turns out so nice though, great job!
