L-3 Reflections Abound

L-03 Reflections Abound
This block was easy-peasy! It was paper-pieced using freezer paper again. It's slightly wonky, but really, I'm ok with it.The fabric is Gold Foliage from Heather Ross' Lightning Bugs collection for Free Spirit.

I got a new Clover mini iron, and I am not sure if I like it. It's nice because it's not in they way and much easier to maneuver, but I think I like the heft of a normal iron to help with pressing. My hand kind of went numb after a while from gripping and pressing so hard. I guess I will see as I make more blocks...

Careful with those little gadgets! I think that's how I got tendonitis in my wrist (gripping too hard too long). That golden-yellow fabric is so cute :)

I can't tell that it's wonky! Of course, I'm that way with my own stuff, I'm certain it's all crooked, but no one else notices.

I just love seeing all the little blocks for this quilt.

I still haven't tried that paper method on Dear Jane blocks, but I'm looking forward to giving it a try. I think I have that same iron, and decided that a wooden iron is just as effective on small pieces and very easy on the wrists.

This block is really amazing! I've wondered about those mini irons too. I'm not sure I can work without steam though!
