My first reverse applique (and hand applique) block, and it's painfully obvious. I really enjoyed doing the block, and it's pretty obvious to me which circles were done first. The circles got better as I got more practice. Fabric is from Whiffle Tree before they closed.

You're learning a lot with this project--and I'm learning from you. Your project is fun to watch as it evolves.
You're making so much progress so quickly! I love your fabric choices.
Wow, that background fabric give a really cool effect!
Lynn, I know Ivy already tagged you for an "award", but I did too! Ha! Now you really have to do it! :)
Lynn, Your blocks look great. Your fabric choices are so beautiful! The great thing with these applique blocks is that you improve quickly, and can tell.
Lucy looks like such a joy. I have known one other Welsh Corgi and he was such a great friend and companion to those around him. She looks to have grown so fast! Thanks for sharing the pictures. Love Stacy
I love your take on Dear Jane. I've owned the book for a year or so now and am totally in awe of it. I've been thinking of doing it as a way to learn new techniques and hone my skills. You are inspiring.
