So surprise, I'm actually keeping up with the Embroidery School. Here is my finished photo for lesson 3:
Anyway, I've decided that I love french knots, and satin stitch is hard. Practice really does make it better, and I could see that from one end of the cupcake to the other. Can't wait for next week!
Here is a sneak peak of a swap I'm doing with Sara. Hope she likes it! I'll be mailing off the package tomorrow...

The embroidery is very cute.
Oh, that swap teaser photo looks very nice. I want to see what it is!
Both projects are so cute--love that adorable cupcake and your swap partner is going to be so tickled with her package.
Wow, now I discovered Embroidery School. How cool. I keep using the same two stitches on all my embroidery but now I can learn how to do more...
Love the embroidery!
The swap teaser is killing me! :)
I can't wait to get my package.
Ok, your project is ADORABLE! I cannot wait to see more of it. That gater fabric is really nice. So Japanese!
Seeing your embroidery progress is making me think that I'm going to sign up for the embroidery class that the local fabric store in my neighborhood offers. Your projects are so cute!
That turned out great! I was working on mine last night. I would of had it finished in time but my munchkin stopped me.
I went over to see the rest of the package and wow, you're a great gift giver. What a nice swap.
