the wheels on the bus go round and round....

Inspired by this post awhile ago (who am I kidding, I am always inspired by Kelli), I decided to start taking the bus at least once a week. It probably more than doubles my commute time, but it's been pretty fun. I take my knitting with me, and it's fairly productive. Look what I got done today on the ride there and back!!
bus work
Please ignore the fuzziness. I don't like flash, and well, it was dark by the time I get back. That's almost a whole square for this blanket! I'm so excited. Can't wait to see how much I get done tomorrow.

That is one of the thing I truly miss about my life in DC...I used to get so much knitting done during my commutes!

That is a really nice stitch pattern! It can get pretty crowded on a NYC subway, so I leave my knitting at home.

Aren't you sweet? And would you know I haven't taken the bus yet once? I am awful. I am carpooling more, which is helpful.
Where did you find that pattern? I want to make a scarf out of that exact pattern. Can you help me?

Hm. I'm not very productive on the bus. I can only listen to my iPod...anything else will induce a headache. Same goes from the train, too. Oh well...at least I carpool to work.

I agree about commuting via bus taking longer than driving, but like you I find it to be much more productive. That blanket is amazing.

P.S. The turtle pumpkin is nuts!

Very cool! Can't say that my knitting has gotten to that level yet.
I tagged you btw... =)

Wow, this is looking great. You are one fast little knitting gal! I don't take the bus ever, but sometimes I carpool. I should do a bit more of that. Thanks for the reminder.
