2009 Blogger's Quilt Festival

Alright, here is my entry for the Quilt Festival! It's an old quilt, but still my favorite:
Front of Quilt at Half Moon Bay
It's my Half Moon Bay quilt. Previous post here. It's been almost 2 years since I made this quilt, and I still love it because of the colors. Many of the quilts I've made since then tend to go along the lines of my wardrobe... max 3 colors at a time. Yes, it's BORING.
Half Moon Bay Quilt Front #2
So thanks to this quilt, it's obvious I like patterns and colors. Probably something I should keep in mind for future quilts!

I Love this quilt! I actually have a bunch of fat quarters of this line of fabric in my stash - your quilt has inspired me to actually do something with them. Thanks for sharing!

Darling quilt. My mother likes it too. In fact, she would like to have your quilt on the beach just like the picture. Well done!

I think you should look at this quilt before you plan every quilt so you can remind yourself of how wonderfully you work with color.

Ooh, I love this quilt from the first time I saw it too! Now the only question is: is that HMB where the photo is taken? ;)

And thanks for the sewing advice! I'll be practicing :)

Lynn,
Are you going to the SCVQA meeting next week? Would love to meet you there if you're going. Thinking of bringing some of my quilts for show/tell. Not sure if I can sneak away...we'll see!

I can see why you love this quilt! It is really cool how the patterned fabrics seem to "move" behind the strict white lines.

Thank you for your comment on my blog!
