Here are some more photos of the baby quilt. Unfortunately it was super foggy this morning, so the lighting isn't that great. These were blocks from a mystery quilt. I did stipple quilting and bound the quilt using the same method as the In Stitches throw. I forgot how quick baby quilts go! Due to change in plans, it turns out I didn't need to rush though. But that's alright, because now I have time to wash the quilt before it goes. Maybe I'll add a little elephant friend too?
The backing fabric is absolutely one of my most favorite fabrics, and definitely my favorite for little boy quilts. I found it at Joann's a few years ago in the little boys apparel section. I should have bought more!
A gratuitous shot of Lucy, so you can see the scale and how blue the photos turned out...

Love it! I love the colors, and the backing fabric, and the Lucy! It's all so cute! A baby boy would be lucky to get such a lovely quilt (dog not included). Hehe.
Love that backing fabric! For some reason it reminds me of this radioactive green hippo fabric I stumbled upon at JoAnn's awhile ago. Everytime I see one of your quilts it makes me want to actually learn to quilt, but for some reason I never do...
The colors are striking - great job!
I love it and think it would be great for a girl, too. I tend towards non-girly colors for Melody.
The green in that quilt is beautiful! And, I'll take photos of Lucy whenever - she really is the cutest.
It looks great! I love the colors.
Yay, how cute!! You're a sewing maniac, how did you whip it up so fast?! Too, too adorable :D
very pretty lynn. i'm on board with that backing fabric. i need to wander over to that section every once and awhile.
so amazing! Love the color choices- perfect for a baby quilt. Also, love that great backing fabric
The colors in your quilt are stunning. And you have one the cutest dogs I've ever seen.
